Szegedi spice paprika powder refers to the protected designation of origin: OEM stands for ‘Oltalom alatt álló Eredetmegjelölés’ 'Protected Designation of Origin'   (PDO). Under the EU agricultural product quality policy,  and in this instance covers agricultural products and foodstuffs which are produced, processed and prepared  in the Szeged Paprika growing geographical area using recognised know-how.

Approved labeling helps consumers to identify Spice Paprika that was grown, harvested, and processed in the Szeged region. and  thus  obtain the, highest quality paprika  that it is possible to  buy.
