The judges’ opinion on our Hand-picked Szegedi Spice paprika powder sweet at the Great Taste competition in England was the following:
"This has vibrant, high ASTA colour and a great capsicum aroma with a pleasing earthiness. It is very well milled. It is a fruity, sweet paprika with a pleasing bitterness to help control the sweetness. There is excellent length on the finish without being heavy. The aroma is as if you have just cut open a sun-ripened red pepper. We have never tasted a sweet paprika so deep, rich, earthy, fruity, rounded and flavoursome."

Szegedi spice paprika powder refers to the protected designation of origin: OEM stands for ‘Oltalom alatt álló Eredetmegjelölés’ 'Protected Designation of Origin'   (PDO). Under the EU agricultural product quality policy,  and in this instance covers agricultural products and foodstuffs which are produced, processed and prepared  in the Szeged Paprika growing geographical area using recognised know-how.
